'Brave the Blue' is a once in a lifetime high-adventure event where participants rappel from the 30th floor of the tallest building in Lexington. Proceeds from this event will go directly towards supporting the more than 11,000 young people in the 55 counties served by the Bluegrass Council and Boy Scouts of America. 'Brave the Blue' will also allow Lexington to showcase all it has to offer from a new vantage point, 410 feet over downtown (literally)
Chip Armishaw is new to the Lexington scene, but his vast experience in Scouting promises to provide the leadership and excellence that will see 2013 be the best year yet for Scouting in the Blue Grass Council.
Dan Koett's leadership in the record breaking 'Brave the Blue' event in 2012, pushed the Blue Grass Council into the most successful fundraising event to date, catching the public eye and bringing the spotlight back to the bluegrass.
Matthew Roberts has served as a leader of the Blue Grass Council for 8 years providing guidance to the staff and ensuring the mission and vision of the Boy Scouts of America is upheld.
James Howard has been with the Blue Grass Council for 11 years providing direction and support through his experience in information technology, graphic design, and web design.
